Fall Grant Programs

Information for 2022 will be updated as it is received.

Supporting Ministry Grants

This is a friendly reminder that Supporting Ministry Grant applications are due October 1, 2020. Please visit http://presbyterian.ca/canadian-ministries/supporting-ministry-grants/ for a detailed description of the application process and templates for required documents.

The Grants Committee relies heavily on presbyteries to assess the needs of the local context. Please forward requests to us only after ensuring that there is strong appropriate leadership and support for new and renewing ministries. Thank you for the time and consideration you put into this process.

Program and Capital Grants

The Presbyterian Church in Canada offers funding for ministry leaders and congregations to explore exciting opportunities to live out Christ’s mission. Program funding is available to help establish new ministries and renew ministries by providing assistance in the areas of exploratory ministry, missional engagement, and renewal initiatives.

Please note that applications for the following program and capital grants must be received by October 15, 2020:

  • The New and Renewed Ministry Fund
  • Avondbloem Experimental Fund
  • Chisholm Fund
  • McBain-Barker Small Community Capital Fund
  • Special Projects Fund

The Presbyterian Church in Canada offers funding to help in a variety of other areas including children and youth ministry, worship, lay training, conferences, mission work, and more. A detailed listing of all the grants can be found online at http://presbyterian.ca/canadian-ministries/funds.
